Game Shooting

I usually arrive 15 minutes before the game to catch some moments with the team and warmup.

I like to move around the field to try different angles so the photos result with more variety and not just always the same.

I use a telephoto lens for better approximation to the players and a monopod to stabilize the camera because of the focal lenght.

I also use a 50mm lens to capture a different perspective if the players are very close.

I work the whole game and I stay until the complete encounter is over because there are always some beautiful moments after the game.

Editing

Most photographers often automatize all the process you do at home, like using only presets or AI. But I’m very careful with all the process at home because it’s just as important as shooting the game.

Firstly, I take manually all the potential photos from the game to import them into the editor.

I use Adobe Lightroom to edit the pictures carefully one by one.

Each photo is different so they need different settings and adjustments that aren’t covered by a preset, that’s why I’m very careful editing them.

Photos Delivery

When I finish editing the photos I export them in the highest quality possible. Then I use an app called Pic-Time to deliver the photos to my clients. This app lets me deliver photos on a professional way organizing the pictures and using a clean structure to expose the results.

Then I send the link of the gallery to my client which will be able to download all the pictures he wants from it.
